At a prestigious awards ceremony last night (Thursday 11th June) at London Hilton Park Lane, Young’s Seafood Limited picked up the Gold Award for Best New Fish-based Product for its Gastro Cod, Spinach and Cheese Gratin – a creamy combination or flaky white fish, with bubbling cheddar and green spinach.  The British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) is the UK’s frozen food trade association with over 300 members, working to promote and protect the industry.  Judged by consumers, the Annual Retail Awards are a major industry event.Earlier in the year the winning dish featured in the first of Young’s new series of TV adverts, which introduced consumers to brand ambassador Malcolm the Cat. Voiced by Rupert Everett, Malcolm is a discerning foodie cat who yearns for the delicious Young’s fish served up by his family.Yvonne Adam, Marketing Director of Young’s Seafood Limited said: “We couldn’t be more pleased to have won this award.
