Is your child a little Prince or Princess? Would they like to be centre stage at the Cleethorpes Carnival this July 18th?  Cleethorpes Carnival supported by Young’s Seafood Limited, together with the Grimsby Telegraph is launching a search for this years parade Prince and Princess to join in the Carnival fun!

The Cleethorpes Carnival Prince and Princess can be any primary school pupils, aged 7 to 11 in the North East Lincolnshire area, so if your little Prince or Princess would enjoy a starring role in the Carnival bring them along to Freshney Place Shopping Centre on Saturday 20th June!

There will be a specially set-up studio to take beautiful professional photographs of the aspiring Prince and Princesses in Freshney Place, near to BHS. The photographs will then be published in the Grimsby Telegraph on Wednesday, June 24th, together with short biographies and unique text numbers for the public to vote for their top 5 Princes and top 5 Princesses. Public voting will close on July 1st and the top 5 Princes and Princesses will be revealed in the Grimsby Telegraph on the 3rd July before a panel of judges from the Cleethorpes Carnival Committee choose the final winners. The winning Carnival Prince and Princess will then be crowned on the 10th July.

The Carnival Prince and Princess will be pride of place in the parade, chauffeur driven in a car donated by Thurlby Motors. The Princess will be treated to a pampering session to prepare for the Carnival, thanks to the Cutting Club and a brand new Princess dress, from Proposals Bridal room, a tiara and a sash especially chosen for her and donated by Young’s Seafood Limited. To capture her magical day, the Carnival Princess will also have a professional photograph shoot with Chris Lynn Photography. The Carnival Prince will receive a stylish suit from Young’s Seafood Limited to wear at the parade and a special Grimsby Town Football Club goodie bag to treasure.

Young’s Seafood Limited would like to thank the Grimsby Telegraph for helping us search far and wide for our Prince and Princess and Thurlby Motors, the Cutting Club and Chris Lynn Photography for their generous donations which will ensure the new Carnival royalty reign in style!
