What you’ll need


  • 2 packs of Chip shop Quarter Pounders
  • 4 Sliced Brioche buns
  • 2 Large tomatoes sliced
  • 1 bag mixed salad leaves

Tartare Sauce

  • 6 TBSP Good quality mayonnaise
  • 4 TBSP Fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1 Heaped TBSP Red onion finely diced
  • 2 Heaped TBSP Capers
  • 2 Heaped TBSP Baby Gherkins
  • 2 Eggs

How to make it

Fish Fillet

  1. Cook the Quarter Pounders according to the instructions

Tartare Sauce

  1. Hard boil the eggs, leave to cool, peel & roughly chop
  2. Rinse, drain & chop the capers & baby gherkins
  3. Place all ingredients in a bowl and stir gently to combine

The sandwich

  1. Slice the brioche buns & butter lightly. Sear the buttered brioche in hot pan on both sides until golden
  2. Spread a little tartare sauce on the bun add a layer of salad leaves, the quarter pounder then top with sliced tomato and a little more tartare sauce.
