What you’ll need

  • 1 Pack of Young’s Simply Breaded Cod 440g
  • 3 Tsp green pesto (use jar or 1 bunch basil, 3 tbsp extra virgin, handful parmesan, handful pine nuts – blend)
  • 1 Pack of mixed salad
  • 1 Pack of conchiglie pasta
  • 100g Parmesan

Tomato sauce:

  • 6 Chopped cherry tomatoes
  • 1 Garlic clove crushed and chopped
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 4 Tbsp passata
  • Handful chopped basil


  • Refresh in ice water – dry well and mix with cherry tomatoes

How to make it

  1. Cook the Young’s Simply Breaded Cod to pack instructions
  2. While the cod is cooking, make the tomato sauce by combining all ingredients and bring to the boil
  3. Cook the pasta according to instructions, once cooked, stir in the green pesto
  4. Transfer the cooked cod to an ovenproof dish
  5. Top the cod with the tomato sauce, ensuring the ends of the fish are still visible
  6. Add the parmesan and grill to melt the cheese and ensure it is golden brown
  7. Master any mealtime – from freezer to feast in 30 minutes – boom!
