Young’s Seafood Limited is today, 10th February 2015, announcing that the company will continue their sponsorship of Grimsby Town Football Club for another year during the 2015/16 Season. The leading UK fish and seafood processor is a major local employer in Grimsby and has supported the Mariners for over a decade.

Pete Ward, Chief Executive of Young’s Seafood Limited, said: “Grimsby Town Football Club is an important part of our community and many of our staff are committed Mariners. As part of our Fish for Life programme, we’re committed to playing a positive role in the communities where we are based, and this move is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility activities. This year our Chip Shop range celebrates its 30th anniversary and we’re delighted that, as we mark this achievement, our logo will continue to be worn by our local team. This announcement follows the recent appointment of Grimsby-based Pete Ward as Chief Executive of Young’s Seafood Limited and the launch of Young’s new multi-million pound advertising campaign. The new TV advertising features Malcolm, a discerning foodie cat, voiced by Hollywood actor Rupert Everett.
